ABOUT US

Why the name 'Recovery PT'?

I have met plenty of men throughout my career that have transitioned from playing sport, being in the military or having jobs involving manual labour who have gotten injured. Not being able to do a job, hobby or sport that you once enjoyed can cause a number of mental health issues on top of any physical injuries. We have made it our mission here to help people recover from physical injuries, find new purpose, set new goals and create good, healthy and sustainable habits through exercise, nutrition and socialising.
-
Is your mental health holding you back? Multiple studies have shown that exercise is one of the best therapies you can get if you are suffering from a mental health condition. The release of endorphins and serotonin (feel good hormones) you get from physical exercise as well as the communication and interaction you have with others while exercising can be instrumental in improving your mental health. At Recovery PT we help you bridge the gap between mental health and physical health.
-
We run a number of different programs and packages that can help you achieve your health and fitness goals, network with other like-minded people and feel like you are part of our family.
